Chalice orange rainbow

Unsere Chalice Orange Rainbow (lat. Echinophyllia sp.) ist eine stark orange-goldene, mit rot, grün und teils lila steifen durchzogene LPS-Koralle (Large Polyp Stony Coral). Durch ihre einzigartige Farbvielfalt mit leuchtenden Tönen ist sie ein echter Blickfang in jedem Becken.

Diese Chalice stammt von einem gesunden Muttertier aus Indonesien und wurde sorgfältig ausgewählt und bei uns nachgezogen. Du genau den Ableger, der auf dem Bild zu sehen ist. Dieser ist auf einem 2 cm DeJong Frag Plug. Vor dem Verkauf ist sowohl das Muttertier, als auch einige Monate später dieser Ableger eine volle Quarantäne von mindestens 4 Wochen durchlaufen, um höchste Qualität und maximale Sicherheit für dein Aquarium zu gewährleisten.

Haltungsbedingungen für Chalice Korallen

• Standort: Bevorzugt schattige bis halbschattige Plätze im Riff, nicht direkt unter starker Strömung oder Licht.
• Beleuchtung: Mittlere bis geringe Lichtintensität (PAR 80–150 empfohlen).
• Strömung: Sanfte, indirekte Strömung – niemals direkt anpusten.
• Wasserwerte: Stabil und nährstoffarm wie in modernen Riffsystemen üblich:
  – Temperatur: 24–26 °C
  – Salinität: 34–35 PSU
  – KH: 7–8 dKH
  – Calcium: 400–450 mg/l
  – Magnesium: 1250–1350 mg/l
  – NO3: 1–5 mg/l
  – PO4: 0,01–0,05 mg/l

Diese Korallenart wächst langsam, belohnt dich dafür aber langfristig mit beeindruckender Färbung und Form. Für stabile Bedingungen und Geduld wirst du mit einem einzigartigen Blickfang im Aquarium belohnt.

Our Chalice Orange Rainbow (Echinophyllia sp.) is a brightly colored LPS coral (Large Polyp Stony Coral), dominated by vibrant orange-golden tones with striking streaks of red, green, and hints of purple. Thanks to its unique and vivid coloration, this coral becomes a true highlight in any reef tank.

This chalice originates from a healthy mother colony from Indonesia and has been carefully selected and propagated in-house by us at PolypFarm. You will receive exactly the frag shown in the product image. It is mounted on a 2 cm DeJong frag plug. Both the mother colony and this frag have undergone a full quarantine period of at least 4 weeks to ensure the highest quality and maximum safety for your reef aquarium.

Care Instructions for Chalice Corals

• Placement: Prefers shaded to semi-shaded areas in the reef, not directly exposed to strong flow or intense lighting.
• Lighting: Medium to low light intensity (recommended PAR 80–150).
• Flow: Gentle, indirect water movement – avoid direct blasting.
• Water Parameters: Stable and low-nutrient reef aquarium conditions:
  – Temperature: 24–26 °C
  – Salinity: 34–35 PSU
  – Alkalinity: 7–8 dKH
  – Calcium: 400–450 mg/l
  – Magnesium: 1250–1350 mg/l
  – Nitrate: 1–5 mg/l
